Projective Group Talent seeks a Data Governance Specialist to improve how data is managed across a public energy network operator in Wallonia. You will work with IT, business, security and privacy teams to build governance, data quality, privacy and compliance capabilities.

This role sits within our Talent Academy, offering growth and coaching with opportunities to advance to Data Products and Data Contracts.

Qualifications

• Master's degree or equivalent professional experience.
• Relevant experience in data governance, data management or data quality.
• Understanding of data security, privacy and compliance incl. GDPR and ISO 27001.
• Experience with governance or cataloguing tools such as Purview, Collibra or Precisely.
• Clear communication, able to adapt to different audiences and help stakeholders adopt new ways of working.
• Structured, pragmatic and solution-oriented approach with focus on continuous improvement.
• Fluent in English; Dutch and/or French a plus.

Responsabilités

• Support the development of data governance policies, standards and procedures.
• Help structure a governance model suited to a decentralised organisation.
• Coordinate with Data Owners and Data Stewards and support role adoption.
• Improve data quality, traceability and transparency across the organisation.
• Maintain the business glossary and contribute to the data catalogue.
• Support governance across the data lifecycle and for Data Products and Data Contracts.
• Collaborate with business, IT, security and privacy teams on compliant data use.
