Keystone Solutions seeks a Data Engineer for a consultancy mission at a client site on the Boeteplatform project, which coordinates organizational and digital processes within the Justice system since 2017. The role focuses on accelerating fines processing, reducing stakeholder workload, and digitizing information flow across the criminal justice chain.

You will translate business needs into data requirements, define KPIs, implement and manage CI/CD for data pipelines, and develop ETL/ELT

Qualificações

Master's or Bachelor's degree in ICT or a related field.
Minimum 5 years in data engineering, data warehousing or BI; at least 2 in a development team with CI/CD.
Expert-level SQL and data modeling knowledge (Kimball and/or Data Vault).

Responsabilidades

Translate standards, guidelines and business needs into clear functional and technical data requirements and reporting.
Collaborate with PO and analysts to gather information needs and develop user stories with acceptance criteria.
Define data definitions and KPIs to ensure consistency across the data landscape.
Ensure data quality from source to report, ensuring data is reliable and reproducible.
Implement and manage CI/CD for data pipelines, models and reports.
Develop and maintain ETL/ELT processes and a reliable BI publication layer.
Contribute to data governance and compliance with internal control and audit expectations.

Mission Overview:

Keystone Solutions is seeking a Data Engineer for a consultancy mission at a client site. This role involves working on the Boeteplatform project, which has been responsible for coordinating organizational and digital processes within the Justice system since 2017. The project aims to enhance the execution of financial penalties and reduce administrative workloads across various stakeholders in the criminal justice chain.

Project Objectives:

Accelerate the processing of fines.
Reduce the workload of stakeholders in the criminal justice chain through a streamlined approach.
Digitize information processing.
Improve the financial execution of penalties.
Enhance public service delivery.

Key Responsibilities:

As a Data Engineer, you will be part of the development team and act as a bridge between business requirements and technical delivery. Your responsibilities will include:

Translating standards, guidelines, and business needs into clear functional and technical requirements for data flows and reporting.
Collaborating with the Product Owner and functional analysts to gather information needs and develop user stories with clear acceptance criteria.
Defining data definitions and KPIs to ensure consistency across the board.
Ensuring data quality throughout the entire chain, from source to report, making sure data is reliable, verifiable, and reproducible.
Implementing and managing CI/CD for data pipelines, data models, and reports.
Developing and maintaining ETL/ELT processes and ensuring a reliable publication layer for BI tools.
Contributing to data governance and compliance with internal control and audit expectations.

Qualifications and Skills Required:

Master's or Bachelor's degree in ICT or a related field.
At least 5 years of relevant experience in data engineering, data warehousing, or BI, with a minimum of 2 years in a development team working with CI/CD.
Proven experience in translating business and quality requirements into data requirements and acceptance criteria.
Expert-level SQL skills and experience with data modeling (Kimball and/or Data Vault).
Familiarity with BI tools such as SAS Visual Analytics, Power BI, and/or Apache Superset.
Strong analytical skills and attention to detail.
Excellent communication skills, able to clarify vague questions and switch between technical and non-technical discussions.
