Job summary

Data Wizards in Belgium is seeking a Data Engineer to design, build and maintain data pipelines, turning raw data into actionable insights. You will work with SQL, Python, and cloud services to support ingestion, transformation and exposure across clients.

Collaborate with analysts and data scientists, ensure data quality and traceability, and contribute to data modeling and architecture in a consulting environment.

Qualifications

• Master’s degree in computer science, data or a related technical field.
• 1–6 years of experience in Data Engineering or a related role, ideally in a consulting environment.
• Fluent in English and French and/or Dutch.

Responsibilities

• Design, build, and maintain robust, scalable data pipelines.
• Support ingestion, transformation, and exposure of data across multiple sources and systems.
• Develop and optimize data processing solutions using SQL, Python, and modern orchestration tools.
• Work on a cloud-based data stack, collaborating with data analysts, data scientists, and business stakeholders.
• Ensure data quality, reliability, traceability, and monitoring across platforms.
