Job summary

Fincons Group, an IT business consulting company with a 40-year history on international markets, is seeking a Data Engineer to join a four-member data/DevOps team. You will focus on BI dashboards, ad-hoc analytics, and maintaining the data layer.

Requirements include QlikSense, SAP BO/DS, SQL (Oracle), Python, and experience with ITIL and Agile. English at B2+ level; Brussels office with on-site/off-site options.

Qualifications

• Experience in QlikSense dashboard development and administration.
• Experience with SAP Business Objects (Web Intelligence, Universe design).
• Experience with SAP Data Services (ETL development and maintenance).
• Strong SQL querying skills (Oracle).
• Data modelling (conceptual, logical, physical).
• Python for data analytics.
• Familiarity with project management tools (OpenProject, JIRA).
• Familiarity with ITIL and Agile methodologies.
• Experience using AI and Large Language Models to deliver results.
• Ability to integrate in an international and multicultural environment.
• Rapid self-starting capability and team collaboration.

Responsibilities

• Develop BI dashboards and reporting.
• Conduct ad-hoc data analytics and reporting.
• Configure and deploy IDP and RAM.
• Maintain and evolve the Common Data Layer.

Data Engineer

The person will be part of a four-member team consisting of Data Engineers and DevOps specialists, whose main activities will focus on:

• Business Intelligence dashboards and reporting;
• Ad-hoc data analytics and reporting;
• IDP and RAM configuration and deployment;
• Common Data Layer maintenance and evolution;

• SQL and relational database querying (Oracle)
• Data Modelling (conceptual, logical, physical)
• Python for Data Analytics
• Use of Project Management tools (OpenProject, JIRA)
• Familiarity with Service Management (ITIL) and Agile methodologies
• Experience using AI and in particular tools based in Large Language Models in order to deliver results more efficiently is a strong asset;
• Capability of integration in an international and multicultural environment
• Rapid self-starting capability and experience in working in team
• High degree of discretion and integrity is required - PMO manages personal and confidential data
