Jones Engineering is seeking a Commercial Manager to join the delivery teams for a major Data Centre project in Belgium. The role focuses on managing all commercial aspects, including contract compliance, procurement, subcontractor accounts, and cash flow forecasting.

Ideal candidates will have a mechanical background, 8+ years post-qualification, and experience in electrical roles. You will work within a team to drive project success in a dynamic, expanding Data Centre division.

Qualifications

• Bachelors degree in Quantity Surveying / Construction Economics or equivalent.
• Minimum 8+ years post-qualification experience, Data Centre experience preferred.
• Experience in an electrical role is advantageous.
• Proven ability to lead and mentor teams and manage complex commercial projects.

Responsabilités

• Support Construction Team on Quantity Surveying functions and commercial duties.
• Identify risks and report them to management promptly.
• Prepare monthly progress applications with accurate remeasurement and variations.
• Manage procurement activities and contract support with the Procurement Department.
• Oversee subcontractor accounts from award to final accounts and valuations.
• Forecast turnover and cash flow; monitor project performance and reporting.
• Monitor contract compliance and respond to important commercial issues.
