Mane Energy in Mons, Belgium is seeking an experienced Quantity Surveyor to manage the commercial and contractual aspects of large-scale construction projects in a dynamic environment.

The ideal candidate has 3-5 years of Quantity Surveying experience, a strong understanding of construction contracts and a working knowledge of Mechanical and Electrical packages, with responsibilities spanning subcontractor accounts, variations, valuations and cashflow management.

Qualifications

• Degree qualified in Quantity Surveying or related discipline or equivalent experience.
• 3-5 years' experience in a Quantity Surveying position.
• Strong understanding of construction contracts.
• Working knowledge of Mechanical and Electrical packages.

Responsabilités

• Managing the commercial and contractual aspects of assigned project packages.
• Preparing and reviewing subcontract documentation.
• Pricing Mechanical and Electrical tenders where required.
• Measuring and pricing variations and changes.
• Preparing monthly interim applications for payment.
• Issuing contractual notices and supporting loss and expense, acceleration and other claims.
• Preparing accurate, competitive and robust estimates.
• Measuring site progress and cashflow forecasts.
• Managing subcontractor accounts and overall commercial control.
• Reviewing project cost plans to ensure target margins.
• Monitoring project performance and identifying commercial risks and trends.
• Maintaining audit trails to support payments and claims.
• Collaborating with clients, contractors and internal teams.
• Supporting junior Quantity Surveyors and contributing to their development.
