Jones Engineering requires an Intermediate Quantity Surveyor to join the delivery team on a large Data Centre project in Belgium.

You will track costs and hours for labour hire subcontractors and prelim staff, assist the Senior QS with commercial reports, and manage subcontractor accounts through awards, valuations and final accounts. The role emphasizes teamwork, strong IT skills, and clear communication.

Qualifications

• Previous experience in a similar role.
• Ability to work both independently and as part of a multi-functional team.
• Excellent IT skills with proficiency in MS Office.
• Demonstrates excellent presentation, verbal and written communication skills.

Due to expansion of our Data Centre Division, Jones Engineering require an Intermediate Quantity Surveyors to join the delivery team on a large DC Project in Belgium.

Responsibilities

• Tracking Costs and Hours of all Labour Hire Subcontractors.
• Tracking Costs and Hours of all Subcontracted Prelim Staff.
• Assist the Senior QS with the preparation of Commercial Reports.
• Maintain all Commercial Registers.
• Manage Sub-contractor accounts from initial award to interim valuation, variations and final accounts.
• Assist the Senior QS with monthly progress applications.
• All other duties associated with this role.

Key Skills/ Requirements

• Relevant third level qualifications are an advantage but not essential.
• Previous experience in a similar role.
• Ability to work both individually and as part of a multi-functional team.
• Excellent IT Skills.
• Demonstrates excellent presentation, verbal, written, and communication skills.
