Jones Engineering seeks a Commercial Manager with a Mechanical background to join our delivery teams for a major Data Centre project in Belgium. The role focuses on quantity surveying, commercial risk, and contract management within a growing Data Centre division.

The ideal candidate has 8+ years post-qualification experience, experience in electrical roles is preferred, and strong IT and stakeholder communication skills. On-site work in Belgium is expected.

Qualifications

• Relevant third level qualification essential in Quantity Surveying/ Construction Economics.
• Previous Data Centre experience preferable but not essential.
• Minimum 8+ years' experience post qualification essential.
• Experience in an Electrical role required.
• Ability to work both individually and as part of a multi-functional team.
• Excellent IT Skills.
• Demonstrates excellent presentation, verbal, written, and communication skills.

Responsabilités

• Provide support to Construction Team on all Quantity Surveying functions.
• Identify commercial risks and report to management.
• Prepare monthly progress applications with remeasurements and variations.
• Support Procurement with operational activities.
• Manage subcontractor accounts through award, variations and final accounts.
• Forecast turnover and cash flow for projects.
• Ensure accurate reporting and contract compliance.
• Identify trends within the Business & Projects.
