Nishtech is hiring a Data Analyst – Data Visualization & Analytics to join one of Europe’s largest energy transmission companies. You will develop dashboards, analyze market data, and build data pipelines to support strategic energy studies.

Applicants should have 3+ years in data analytics, strong Python and Power BI skills, and experience with large datasets and data warehousing. English required; Dutch/French advantageous.

Qualifications

• 3+ years as Data Analyst or related role with data visualization focus.
• Strong Python for data analysis, automation, and scripting.
• Hands-on Power BI development for dashboards and reports.
• Experience with large datasets, data modeling, and visualization.
• Proficient SQL and relational databases.
• Experience building data pipelines and data warehouses.
• Ability to clean, validate, transform, and analyze complex data.
• Ability to create automated validation and reporting solutions.
• Knowledge of BI concepts and storytelling with data.
• Familiarity with Git version control.
• Strong problem-solving and communication skills.

Key Responsibilities:

• Develop and improve data management processes, including data warehouses and data pipelines.
• Analyze large datasets generated from market and power system simulations.
• Design and build interactive dashboards and visualizations usingPower BIand other visualization technologies.
• Develop and maintain Python scripts for data analysis, processing, and automation.
• Benchmark visualization approaches against industry studies and energy market reports.
• Create comparative visualizations across multiple simulation studies and historical datasets.
• Identify inconsistencies in simulation input/output data through automated validation scripts.
• Design user-friendly interfaces for exploring complex datasets.
• Present analytical findings and visualization concepts to business stakeholders and management.
• Support data engineering initiatives and integration between analytical tools.

Required Skills:

• 3+ years of professional experienceas a Data Analyst, Data Visualization Engineer, Data Engineer, or similar role.
• Strong proficiency inPythonfor data analysis, automation, and scripting.
• Hands-on experience withPower BIfor developing interactive dashboards and reports.
• Experience working withlarge datasets, data modeling, and data visualization.
• Strong knowledge ofSQLand relational databases.
• Experience building and maintainingdata pipelinesanddata warehouses.
• Ability to clean, validate, transform, and analyze complex datasets.
• Experience creating automated data validation and reporting solutions.
• Knowledge of data visualization best practices and storytelling with data.
• Familiarity with version control tools such asGit.
• Strong analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills.
• Ability to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams and present insights to technical and business stakeholders.
• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Data Science, Engineering, Mathematics, Statistics, Information Technology, or a related field.
