Computer Futures is seeking a Data & Visualization Consultant to join a high-impact project in the Belgian energy sector. You will transform complex simulation data into clear insights and compelling visualizations to support energy security, market development, and the transition to sustainable energy.

You will collaborate with energy systems experts, data analytics, and modelling specialists to make data accessible for stakeholders. The role offers a hybrid model in Brussels.

Qualifications

• Minimum 3 years of relevant professional experience.
• Strong Python expertise.
• Experience with Power BI.
• Experience in data analytics, data processing, and/or data engineering.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Proactive and independent working style.
• Ability to collaborate effectively within a team environment.
• Good command of English, with Dutch and/or French considered a strong asset.

Responsabilités

• Improve and optimize data management processes, including data warehouses and data pipelines
• Process, analyze, and interpret large volumes of simulation and market data
• Develop and maintain Python-based tools and scripts
• Design and build dashboards and visualizations in Power BI
• Create meaningful comparisons between studies, scenarios, and historical datasets
• Identify inconsistencies in simulation input and output data through automated checks
• Benchmark and enhance existing visualization approaches
• Present insights and visualizations to stakeholders and management
• Contribute to the development of user-friendly interfaces for exploring and sharing data

We are looking for a Data & Visualization Consultant to join a high-impact project within the Belgian energy sector. In this role, you will transform complex simulation data into clear insights and impactful visualizations that support key decisions related to energy security, market development, and the transition towards a more sustainable energy system.

Your Role

You will join a team responsible for analyses related to electricity markets, adequacy assessments, and future energy scenarios. Working closely with experts in energy systems, data analytics, and modelling, you will help make complex data more transparent, accessible, and actionable for a wide range of stakeholders.

Key Responsibilities

• Improve and optimize data management processes, including data warehouses and data pipelines
• Process, analyze, and interpret large volumes of simulation and market data
