About the Role

We are seeking a skilled and experienced Dynamics 365 Professional Services Solution Architect to join our Belgian Business Applications team. You will help implement and operate Microsoft Dynamics 365 solutions for clients across professional services industries such as retail & consumer goods, public sector, financial services, architecture‑engineering‑construction, finance, legal, technology and consulting.

Responsibilities

• Own the solution architecture: from developing the initial solution design and implementation plans based on client requirements and business needs, to assuring quality during delivery and contributing to strategic and project operational decision‑making through participation in change boards and steering committees.
• Contribute to the technical architecture: work closely with the Technical Architect(s) and other stakeholders, consult on providing technical guidance to clients and project teams and ensure best practices for architectural design and governance are followed.
• Lead requirement gathering: work closely with Functional Architect(s) or take on that role, client stakeholders and the project team to define the project implementation scope (business requirements) and support gathering application requirements.
• Engage in presales: participate in solution demos and evaluations, designing and planning delivery and being accountable for solution fit, cost, staffing, quality and balance with the deal commercials.
• Ensure ERP & CRM solutions implemented are robust, scalable and aligned with strategic/business objectives.
• Stay updated on Microsoft’s latest innovations, maintain or acquire Microsoft certifications on Dynamics 365, and contribute to internal knowledge‑sharing initiatives.
• Coach and mentor junior colleagues in the Belgian Business Applications team.

Qualifications

• At least 10 years of demonstrable experience as a Dynamics 365 ERP or CRM consultant (or previous version AX), with at least 3 years as a Solution Architect or equivalent.
• Deep understanding of professional services industries, especially project management, accounting and both non‑stocked and stocked‑based operations.
• Experience delivering business applications for clients in these industries.
• Strong skills in building and maintaining positive client relationships, understanding business and strategic needs, and providing tailored solutions.
• Experience leading and motivating cross‑functional teams and fostering a collaborative environment.
• Fluency in English and either Dutch or French.

Preferred Qualifications

• Professional services background in a business environment (not only consulting).
• Microsoft certification on Dynamics 365.
