Job summary

EY Belgium is seeking a security awareness consultant to design and deliver awareness roadmaps and campaigns for clients in the financial sector. You will translate complex security concepts into engaging content, measure effectiveness, and stay ahead of evolving threats. The role offers hybrid working, training, and exposure to a global professional services network.

Fluency in Dutch or French and business English required; 2+ years of experience preferred.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Cybersecurity, Information Systems, Information Technology, Business Management, or related major.
• A minimum of 2 years of related work experience in security awareness, cyber culture management or cyber training.
• Language Proficiency: Fluency in Dutch or French, along with proficient business English.
• Preferred: CISSP, COMPTIA+, CISM, CRISC, SSAP, CSAP certifications.
• A passion for the human factor in security and for educating employees against digital threats.
• Strong understanding of cybersecurity basics, social engineering, and human vulnerabilities.
• Ability to simplify complex concepts and connect cybersecurity to corporate strategy.
• Marketing-minded: creative approaches to message delivery.
• Gamification and engaging learning approaches.
• Commitment to staying updated with cyber threats and learning science.
• A talent for behavioral change.
• Familiarity with content-creating and content-editing tools is a plus.
• High achiever, team player, quality-oriented and client-focused.
• General consulting: ability to work with clients, present and work independently and in teams.

Responsibilities

• Design, develop and implement security awareness roadmaps tailored to client environments and audiences.
• Create engaging content (articles, posters, videos, learning modules) to convey security messages.
• Conduct security awareness maturity assessments and identify vulnerabilities.
• Monitor and measure effectiveness using engagement and behavioral metrics.
• Organize security events to promote awareness.
• Convey technical concepts to both technical and non-technical audiences, including executives.
• Stay current with developments in cybersecurity and behavioral science.
