Suspicious Antwerp is seeking a customer service assistant to answer inquiries, provide order updates, and help manage returns from our Antwerp HQ. You’ll support peak periods and contribute to a fast-paced startup environment where things shift rapidly.

Proficiency in English and Dutch, plus experience with Excel, Shopify, and AI tools, is essential. You will be a day-a-day contact for customers, ensuring timely responses and accurate information.

• Student status with availability ~1 day per week, plus more during peak periods.

Responsabilités

• Be a day-to-day contact for our customers.
• Keep people updated on their orders before they have to chase us.
• Help handle returns and exchanges; flag recurring questions so the team can fix the cause.
• Work in Gorgias, Shopify and Excel.
• Be there during Black Friday, sales, drops and events when the inbox doubles overnight.

About the job

Suspicious ships worldwide and keeps opening stores in new countries, so there are always more customers with questions than there are hours in a day.

You join our customer service team for about a day a week, and you step up when it gets busy: Black Friday, sales, drops and events. You answer customers, keep them posted on their orders and help the team stay on top of the inbox.

What you'll be doing

• Be a day-to-day contact for our customers
• Keep people updated on their orders before they have to chase us
• Help handle returns and exchangesFlag the questions that keep coming back, so the team can fix the cause
• Work in Gorgias, Shopify and Excel
• Be there when it counts: Black Friday, sales, drops and events, when the inbox doubles overnight

What you bring

• You are a student, available around a day a week and able to do more during our peak periods
• Strong communication skills, written and spoken, because you'll be communicating a LOT
• Fluent in English & Dutch
• No problem or issue left unseen, everything handled on time
• Doing ten things at once? Easy. You keep your head and know what matters first
• Comfortable in Excel, a sheet does not scare you
• AI-savvy, you already use tools like ChatGPT and see where they save you time
• Able to work independently and focused, but genuinely a team player
• Hands-on and energized by a start‑up environment where things shift fast
• A feel for the Suspicious Antwerp brand and the streetwear world it lives in
• Based in Belgium and able to work from our HQ in Antwerp

Nice to have, no dealbreaker

• Experience with Gorgias or another helpdesk tool
• Hands‑on with Shopify
• A first job in retail, hospitality or anywhere else you dealt with customers
• French or another extra language
