Job summary

Qualifications

• PhD in a relevant domain with 3+ years of experience.
• Experience in design of cryptographic algorithms and protocols.
• Knowledge of cryptographic evaluation and certification processes.

Responsibilities

• Evaluate cryptographic algorithms and protocols for cryptographic strength and compliance.
• Report progress and findings to the Project Manager and stakeholders.
• Engage with national customers and ESA experts on algorithms, parameters, and security risks.
• Provide recommendations on algorithm choices based on use-case and threat models.
• Assist in training colleagues and sharing knowledge on cryptographic evaluation methods.
• Monitor emerging threats and industry trends relevant to crypto evaluation.
