Job summary

Schneider Electric in Uccle, Brussels, Belgium invites motivated students to join the Credit Management team as a Business Analyst Intern for 3-6 months starting February 2027. You will learn foundations of customer risk management and receive hands-on training in financial analysis and receivables monitoring.

Under supervision of the Credit Manager, you will contribute to solvency analysis, maintain customer files, monitor accounts, help produce receivables reports, and collaborate with sales

Qualifications

• Bachelor or Master student in accounting/finance.
• Interest in corporate finance and risk management.
• Attention to detail, analytical mindset, and organizational skills.
• Proficiency in Excel and digital tools.
• Good command of French or Dutch and English.

Responsibilities

• Contribute to the analysis of customer solvency (existing and prospective clients).
• Update customer files with relevant financial data.
• Monitor customer accounts: follow-ups, managing late payments.
• Assist in producing reports on receivables and collection actions.
• Collaborate with sales teams to resolve payment-related disputes.
• Support the continuous improvement of credit management processes.
• Participate in ongoing digitalization projects (including AI initiatives).
• Contribute to monitoring customer risks through rating agencies and credit insurers.
