Sarens is seeking an experienced Crane Operator to join our heavy lifting team in Wolvertem, Belgium. You will operate lattice boom crawler cranes (350T+) safely, assemble on-site, and follow lifting plans with strict adherence to SHEQ standards.

Qualifications

• Minimum 6 years proven experience with 350T+ lattice boom crawler cranes.
• Mandatory hoisting/safety certificate; C/CE license recommended.
• Basic knowledge of mechanics and hydraulics.
• Solid English communication on site.
• Working at heights certificate mandatory; other certs a plus.
• Excellent communication and situational awareness.
• Technical MTS or MBO education is a strong plus.

Responsabilités

• Assemble, configure, and dismantle cranes on-site.
• Check planning instructions, lifting plans, certificates, and load charts before work.
• Inspect cranes and auxiliary equipment before, during, and after operations.
• Perform daily and preventive maintenance; report irregularities.
• Complete maintenance checklists and work records accurately.
• Promote SHEQ standards and continuous improvement on every site.
• Report to your Line Manager and collaborate with Team Blue across Europe.

Your job in a nutshell:

• Operate and control lattice boom crawler cranes (350T+) independently and safely.

REQUIREMENTS

• Strong experience as a crane operator, at least 6 years proven experience with 350T+ lattice boom crawler cranes.
• Hoisting / safety certificate is mandatory. A drivers License C or CE is strongly recommended
• Basic knowledge of mechanics and hydraulics
• Solid knowledge of English to ensure smooth communication on site.
• Certifications: Working at heights certificate is mandatory. Additional certificates (forklift, telehandler, aerial platform) are a plus.
• Excellent communication and situational awareness skills.
• A technical MTS or MBO education is a strong plus!
