Job summary

bpost is seeking a Costing Project Manager to drive cost modelling for Sorting operations and HQ teams within the activity-based costing framework. You will collaborate across Finance, Strategy, Pricing, Legal & Regulatory and Operations.

You will support strategic decisions with rigorous cost analyses, manage multiple projects, and help optimize profitability for mail, parcels and solutions. Fluency in English, Dutch and French is required.

Qualifications

• Master’s degree, preferably in Engineering, Economics, Finance or Business Administration.
• Minimum 5 years of experience in costing, consulting, economic modelling or related role.
• Strategic thinker with conceptual skills and an analytical mindset for detailed analysis.
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
• Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously.
• Excellent judgment and diplomacy to handle complex projects.
• Fluency in English, Dutch and French.

Responsibilities

• Cost modelling of Bpost NV/SA’s Sorting operations and HQ teams within activity-based costing.
• Participate in accounting processes by actualizing product costs and internal invoicing.
• Represent costing department in multidisciplinary projects with a strategic perspective.
• Collaborate with Strategy, Pricing, Legal & Regulatory, Operations and executive management.
• Develop a deep understanding of operational processes and costs to update the costing model.
• Provide input in ad hoc studies and business cases for new products and services.
• Support strategic decisions with insightful analyses on cost and profitability.

Education
