MVVP, a Brussels-based law firm, invites an associate in corporate law to join our on-site team. You will work closely with partners, supporting clients in corporate transactions, governance, contracts, and negotiations.

This role offers direct mentorship, exposure to Belgian and EU law, and opportunities to interact with international clients, with a focus on practical, business-oriented solutions.

Qualifications

• A lawyer with minimum 3 years of relevant experience
• An additional master's degree is an asset
• Trilingual: English, Dutch and French
• Motivated with strong legal analysis skills, disciplined, intellectual curiosity, entrepreneurial mindset, (self)critical and have a group spirit

Responsabilités

• Assisting in corporate transactions, mergers, acquisitions, and restructurings.
• Providing advice on Belgian and European corporate governance rules and compliance.
• Drafting legal opinions, contracts, and corporate documents (e.g., incorporation agreements, shareholder agreements).
• Representing clients in negotiations and, where applicable, legal proceedings.

The role

This is a full-time, on-site role for an associate corporate lawyer at our Brussels office. You will work closely with experienced partners and associates, supporting clients in:

• Assisting in corporate transactions, mergers, acquisitions, and restructurings.
• Providing advice on Belgian and European corporate governance rules and compliance.
• Drafting legal opinions, contracts, and corporate documents (e.g., incorporation agreements, shareholder agreements).
• Representing clients in negotiations and, where applicable, legal proceedings.

As a member of the team, you’ll gain hands‑on experience in a wide range of corporate matters, with a focus on delivering practical, business-oriented solutions. International and EU law perspectives will often come into play given our diverse clientele.
