MVVP is a Brussels-based law firm specializing in corporate and employment law, offering a full-time or part-time on-site role at our Brussels office. You will conduct legal research, draft opinions and contracts, and advise on Belgian and EU employment and social security law.

You’ll contribute to thought leadership and training, represent clients in negotiations, and manage files with autonomy from day one.

Qualifications

• 1–3 years of employment law experience
• Fluent in English, Dutch and French
• Background as trainee, associate, in-house HR counsel or legal consultant
• Available to work in Brussels
• Full-time or part-time: both work for us

The role

This is a full-time or part-time, on-site role at our Brussels office. Your day-to-day will involve:

• Legal research and drafting of legal opinions, contracts and procedural documents
• Providing advice on Belgian and European employment & social security law
• Contributing to articles, books and thought-leadership publications
• Delivering training, internally and for clients
• Representing clients in negotiations and, where applicable, legal proceedings Business development
• Direct client contact and autonomous file management, with real ownership from day one

As a member of the team, you’ll gain hands-on experience in a wide range of employment matters, with a focus on delivering practical, business-oriented solutions. International and EU law perspectives will often come into play given our diverse clientele.

What we’re looking for ?

• Ownership of outcomes, not just tasks
• A lawyer with ideally1 to 3 years of relevant experience in employment law (more senior candidates are equally welcome)
• Background as a trainee, associate, in-house HR counsel (company, social secretariat or federation) or legal consultant
• Trilingual: English, Dutch and French
• Available to work in Brussels
• Full-time or part-time: both work for us
• A plus: exposure to social security law and/or litigation
