Linum Consult seeks a Logistics Manager for a major data centre project in Belgium. The role focuses on planning, coordinating, and delivering complex logistics for on-site construction activities.

The successful candidate will hold a Bachelor’s degree in Logistics or related field, have 10+ years of post-graduate logistics experience on large-scale projects, be fluent in English, and possess strong interpersonal and team leadership skills, with the right to live and work in the EU.

Responsabilités

• Develop, monitor, and update the Project Logistics Management Plan.
• Interface with Operations and Logistics & Asset Management to align logistics with project deliverables.
• Supervise logistics subcontractors.
• Support Construction Supervisors and subcontractors to resolve procurement and supply chain issues.
• Liaise with Engineering to ensure constructability and logistical requirements.
• Monitor and report on performance of construction supervisors and contractors.

Logistics Manager (Construction) – Belgium

Linum Consult’s client is an international technical and engineering construction specialist. They are urgently seeking a Logistics Manager to be involved on a significant data centre construction project in Belgium.

RESPONSIBILITIES

• Developing, monitoring, and updating the Project Logistics Management Plan
• Interfacing with the Operations and Logistics & Asset Management Team to ensure the coordination and implementation of logistics works is in line with the project’s deliverables
• Supervising the logistics supply subcontractors
• Supporting the Construction Supervisors and Subcontractors to resolve any procurement and supply chain issues
• Liaising consistently with the Engineering Team to assist in the development of design solutions that promote constructability and logistical requirements
• Monitoring and reporting on the performance of the construction supervisors and contractors

PROFILE

• Bachelor’s degree qualification in Logistics, Construction or similar subject
• 10 years of post-graduate experience in a Logistics role for complex construction projects, such as data centres, factories, or industrial buildings
• Fluency in spoken and written English
• Strong interpersonal and team management skills
• The right to live and work in the EU
