Job summary

Safran Aircraft Engine Services Brussels is seeking a Configuration & Logistics Officer to ensure that engine components are available for assembly in line with configuration and schedule commitments at Brussels Airport. You will analyze the logistical needs, read the Bill of Work, and detect critical points to enable on-time completion.

Responsibilities include coordinating internal suppliers, completing modules per the production plan, and supporting the assembly line with missing or defective

• Read and understand the logistical aspects of the Bill of Work for the engine.
• Detect critical points in the completion process and look for solutions (e.g. Standard Exchanges, switches between engines).
• Direct internal suppliers (warehouse, backshop, subcontracting, purchasing).
• Complete the modules and ensure they are prepared according to the predetermined production planning.
• Support the assembly line with missing and/or defective parts.
• Analyse the interchangeability (technical and qualitative) of pieces, in accordance with the established configuration.

To strengthen our Supply Chain Team we are looking for a Configuration & Logistics Officer who ensures that for a given engine, the pieces are made available for assembly within the configuration and timeframe agreed with the customer.

Your role:

• You will analyse and provide the logistical needs to complete the engine.
