Job summary

Jobtoolz in Kortrijk, Belgium is seeking a CMC Lead to drive molecule development in the CMC space. You will design experiments, interpret data and prepare technical reports while coordinating with scientists and customers.

Qualifications

• Master degree in Life Sciences; 2-5 years experience in CMC analytics.
• Strong affinity with analytical testing and characterization of proteins and monoclonal antibodies.
• Good insights in chromatography, electrophoresis and mass spectrometry.

Responsibilities

• Lead a molecule in CMC development.
• Design and plan experiments, process and interpret data, capture findings in reports and communicate internally and externally.
• Interact with other scientists and team members throughout projects.
• Offer expert insights, define problem-solving strategies and prioritize tasks.
• Ensure project completion within timelines, scope and budget and monitor milestones.
• Organize and chair project meetings, document minutes for clear communication and accountability.
• Write, analyze and review CMC documentation (process development reports, stability reports, SOPs).
• Engage in and drive technical and strategic CMC discussions with customers.
• Foster teamwork, collaboration and communication across groups.
• Align with management and commercial teams on strategic choices.
• Report to the Group Leader.
