UCB is seeking a Quality Control Team Leader to lead a team of laboratory technicians in analytical testing for Pharmaceutics & Raw Materials. The role emphasizes developing the team, driving compliant testing, and coordinating NPI from analytical and logistics perspectives.

The ideal candidate holds a Master’s in a relevant field, has GMP pharmaceutical leadership experience, and excels in communication and continuous improvement.

Qualifications

  • Master's degree in Chemistry, Pharmaceutical Sciences, Analytical Sciences, or a related field.
  • Proven experience leading technical teams within a GMP-regulated pharmaceutical environment.
  • Strong expertise in analytical techniques such as HPLC/UPLC, GC, NMR, atomic absorption, and pharmacopeial testing.
  • Demonstrated ability to manage multiple priorities, resources, and projects simultaneously.
  • Excellent communication, coaching, stakeholder management, and change management skills.

Description du poste

We are looking for a Quality Control Team Leader who is people-oriented, quality-driven, and proactive to join our Quality Control team, based at our UCB campus located in Braine-l'Alleud, Belgium.


About The Role

As a QC P&RM Team Leader, you will lead a team of laboratory technicians supporting analytical testing activities for Pharmaceutics & Raw Materials products. You will ensure high-quality physical-chemical analyses, support Phase III and commercial products, coordinate New Product Introductions (NPI), and drive operational excellence, compliance, and continuous improvement. You will play a key role in delivering reliable analytical results while developing your team and fostering a strong safety and quality culture.


Who You Will Work With

You will work closely with a multidisciplinary network including Quality Control teams, Pharmaceutics & Raw Materials laboratories, Regulatory Affairs, Quality Assurance, Manufacturing, Development, Metrology, HSE, Human Resources, and Centers of Expertise. You will also collaborate with colleagues across UCB sites to ensure successful project execution, compliance, and product lifecycle support.
