Barco is seeking a System Architect to define and own the end-to-end software architecture of a cloud product in Barco Control Rooms. You will stay hands-on with experiments, proofs of concept, and code reviews, while guiding AI-enabled integrations and cloud-architecture strategies across development teams.

The role emphasizes scalable, secure, and observable cloud platforms, with a strong focus on modern AI concepts, security, and governance. Collaboration with global teams is essential.

Qualifications

• Master's degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or equivalent.
• Experience designing cloud-native software architectures at scale.
• Hands-on mindset with proofs of concept, experiments, prototypes, and technical validations.
• Broad software engineering expertise across servers, APIs, and cloud services.

Responsabilités

• Define and own the end-to-end software architecture of a cloud product within Barco Control Rooms.
• Stay hands-on with experiments, proofs of concept, prototypes, technical validations, and code reviews.
• Evaluate AI-assisted and AI-enabled system integration into the product architecture.
• Stay up to date with latest cloud and control-room tech and advise on technical roadmaps.
• Foster system-wide thinking across components and locations.
