Barco in Kortrijk, Belgium is seeking an Expert Software Engineer to help shape a secure cloud data and AI platform that supports real-time decision-making for Control Rooms.

You will design and build scalable cloud backends, data lake architectures, and AI integrations while collaborating with product teams across international locations. English proficiency and hands-on cloud experience are essential.

Qualifications

• Bachelor or Master in Computer Science or Software Engineering.
• Experience designing cloud-native architectures at scale.
• Hands-on with proofs of concept, prototypes, and technical validations.
• Knowledge of cloud security, IAM and cost optimization.
• Familiarity with serverless, microservices and data lake architectures.
• Experience with multi-team, agile environments is an asset.

Responsabilités

• Contribute to Barco Control Rooms cloud data platform.
• Design, develop and maintain scalable backend solutions.
• Create data lake architectures and multi-layered data models.
• Integrate front-end with server-side logic.
• Ensure performance, reliability and data integrity.
• Develop automated tests and code reviews.
