ThoughtLabs Belgium is seeking an experienced DevOps/Cloud Engineer to design and implement Terraform-based cloud infrastructure on Azure, with a strong focus on GitOps and automation.

You will deploy and secure distributed apps using Docker, Kubernetes, ArgoCD, and Helm, while ensuring high availability, monitoring, and logging across enterprise-scale environments.

Qualifications

• Extensive experience writing Terraform configurations and modules.
• Strong knowledge of OpenTofu/Biceps is a plus.
• Deploying and securing distributed apps with containers and orchestration.
• Experience with ArgoCD, Helm, and related tools.
• Infra-as-code, config-as-code, policy-as-code mindset.
• Azure Cloud with possible certification beneficial.
• Cloud networking, subnets, routing, load balancing, firewalls, security.
• Enterprise-scale IaaS/PaaS and landing zones understanding.
• Monitoring, logging, and Well-Architected Framework principles.
• CI/CD pipelines and container repositories experience.
• Scripting in Bash, PowerShell, CLI, Python.

Responsabilités

• Translate designs into Terraform code for cloud infra.

• Collaborate on data platform services and cloud-native security.
• Maintain telemetry using Grafana/Prometheus and logging tools.

Description du poste

• Significant experience writing Hashicorp Terraform configurations and modules. Good Knowledge in OpenTofu/Biceps in a plus.
• Solid experience in deploying/securing distributed apps with containers (Docker) & orchestration (Azure Kubernetes). Solid experience in ArgoCD, Helm, etc.
• Experience in DevOps and GitOps models with infra-as-code, config-as-code, policy-as-code, etc.
• Proficient in translating designs into fully developed Terraform code.
• Strong knowledge of Microsoft Azure Cloud (certification is a plus).
• Solid understanding of cloud networking concepts, subnets, routing, load balancing, firewalls, and cloud security.
• Experience in enterprise-scale environments, building highly available IaaS and PaaS solutions
• Understanding of landing zones, cloud-native security, monitoring and logging tools, and Well-Architected Framework principals.
• Experience with containers related technologies and CI/CD tools - DevOps, pipelines, container repos, etc.
• Experience in programming and infra-automation tools - Terraform, Ansible, etc.
• A deep understanding of the Data Platform technologies and ability to work with services like ADF, Databricks, …
• Experience in Cloud logging, monitoring, and observability tools (ex: Grafana, Prometheus, …)
• Proficient in scripting languages (i.e. Bash, Powershell, CLI, Python).
