Econocom Belgium is seeking a Cloud Platform Engineer to build, automate, and maintain a modern Azure cloud platform. You will work with engineering teams to deploy scalable and secure cloud solutions, focusing on Azure, Kubernetes, Terraform, CI/CD and automation.

Responsibilities include building Azure infrastructure with IaC, managing AKS, developing CI/CD pipelines, and monitoring security and performance.

Qualifications

• Fluent in French and Dutch; English is a plus.
• Strong experience with Microsoft Azure and Terraform.
• Hands-on Kubernetes experience (AKS), Docker, Helm, and ArgoCD.

Cloud Platform Engineer (Azure & Kubernetes)

For one of our clients, we are looking for a Cloud Platform Engineer to help build, automate, and maintain a modern Azure cloud platform. You will work closely with engineering teams to deploy scalable and secure cloud solutions, with a strong focus on Azure, Kubernetes, Terraform, CI/CD, and automation.

Your responsibilities

• Build and maintain Azure cloud infrastructure using Infrastructure as Code (Terraform).
• Manage and optimize Kubernetes environments (AKS).
• Develop and improve CI/CD pipelines and deployment processes.
• Automate operational tasks and infrastructure provisioning.
• Monitor platform performance, availability, and security.
• Troubleshoot incidents and support production environments.
• Collaborate with business and technical teams to deliver cloud solutions.

Your profile

• Strong experience with Microsoft Azure and Terraform.
• Hands-on experience with Kubernetes (AKS), Docker, Helm, and ArgoCD.
• Knowledge of DevOps/GitOps practices and CI/CD tools.
• Experience with cloud networking, security, monitoring, and observability tools (Grafana, Prometheus, etc.).
• Familiarity with Data Platform technologies such as Databricks and Azure Data Factory.
• Scripting skills in PowerShell, Bash, Python, or Azure CLI.
• Strong problem-solving skills and ability to work independently.
• Fluent in French and Dutch. English is a plus.

Additional information

• Hybrid working model: minimum 2 days onsite in Namur.
• Location: Namur (2 days onsite minimum) + homeworking up to 3 days/week
• Occasional travel to Brussels is required as part of the role.
• Participation in an on-call rotation after the onboarding/training period.
