Pauwels Consulting in Namur is seeking a Senior Cloud Engineer to develop, test and automate containerized infrastructure on Microsoft Azure, AKS and Terraform within a large enterprise environment.

You will implement CI/CD pipelines, adopt GitOps, monitor systems with Grafana/Prometheus, and collaborate with cross-functional teams to deploy resilient solutions. Hybrid work model with on-site presence in Namur.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of experience in cloud engineering focusing on Microsoft Azure and AKS.
• 5+ years of experience writing Terraform configurations and modules for infrastructure automation.
• Experience with container technologies including Docker, Helm, and ArgoCD.

Our client, a key player in the European energy landscape, is seeking a specialist to support the reliability and sustainability of their electricity infrastructure. The role focuses on developing, implementing, and managing automated cloud solutions within a large-scale enterprise environment.

• Develop, test, and troubleshoot containerized infrastructure and automated cloud solutions.
• Build CI/CD pipeline configurations to orchestrate provisioning and deployment for large-scale systems.
• Collaborate with engineering teams to deploy new infrastructure within the Azure platform using Terraform.
• Monitor system health, availability, and latency while resolving issues across development and production environments.
• Automate and streamline operations through infrastructure-as-code and GitOps models.
• Maintain detailed documentation and present technical solutions to stakeholders.

• You have 5+ years of experience in cloud engineering focusing on Microsoft Azure and Azure Kubernetes Service (AKS).
• You possess 5+ years of experience writing Hashicorp Terraform configurations and modules for infrastructure automation.
• You bring experience with container technologies including Docker, Helm, and ArgoCD.
• You have knowledge of data platform services including Azure Data Factory (ADF) and Databricks.
• You possess experience with CI/CD pipelines and GitOps methodologies.
• You're familiar with cloud networking concepts, security protocols, and the Well-Architected Framework.
• You bring proficiency in scripting with Bash, PowerShell, or Python.
• You have experience with observability tools such as Grafana and Prometheus.
• You are proactive and solution-oriented with strong analytical skills and a willingness to participate in a 24/7 on-call rotation.
• You are fluent in English.

Nice to Haves

• Knowledge of OpenTofu or Bicep.
• Microsoft Azure certifications.
• Active knowledge of French, Dutch, or German.
