Pauwels Consulting is seeking a Senior Platform Engineer to evolve an internal developer platform and empower international engineering teams. You will define DevOps practices, build reusable templates, and collaborate with architects to standardize deployment and monitoring across ecosystems.

The role requires 5+ years in platform engineering and strong Azure, C#, and Docker expertise, with English fluency.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of platform engineering with Azure DevOps, YAML pipelines and IaC.
• 5+ years cloud infra with Azure Function Apps, App Services, Blob Storage and SQL.
• 5+ years backend development with C# and .NET.
• Experience with REST API design and implementation.
• Experience with Docker and platform monitoring.
• Fluent in English.

Our client, a global industrial manufacturer, is seeking a specialist to evolve their internal engineering ecosystem. The role focuses on maturing an internal developer platform to support international engineering teams in delivering high-quality industrial software solutions.

• Extend an existing MVP into a comprehensive and mature internal developer platform.
• Define and implement DevOps best practices for security, monitoring, and deployment across all applications.
• Develop reusable templates to enable rapid application deployment and standardization.
• Collaborate with technical leads and architects to align on and implement the target platform blueprint.
• Support development teams by providing tools that facilitate autonomous application management.
• Document the platform architecture and processes to ensure a smooth long-term transition.

• 5+ years of experience in platform engineering with Azure DevOps, YAML pipelines, and Infrastructure as Code.
• 5+ years of cloud infrastructure experience with Azure Function Apps, App Services, Blob Storage, and SQL.
• 5+ years of backend development experience with C# and .NET.
• Possess expertise in REST API design and implementation.
• You have experience with containerization using Docker and platform monitoring.
• You're proactive, solution-oriented, and comfortable working with ambiguous requirements.
• You are fluent in English.

Nice to Haves

• Experience with Azure Key Vault and identity management.
• Knowledge of Dutch.
