CDH Professionals in Brussels is seeking a Freelance Cloud Infrastructure Architect to help design and deliver secure, scalable cloud infrastructure for a leading enterprise. The role focuses on hybrid environments and close collaboration with security, application, and infrastructure teams.

You will define cloud architecture, drive migration, and enforce governance and best practices across projects, with a hybrid work model of 2 days on-site.

Qualifications

• Extensive experience in designing scalable cloud architectures for enterprise workloads.
• Proficient in Azure (preferred) and AWS (nice to have).
• Experience with hybrid cloud environments and large-scale migrations.
• Strong IaC skills with Terraform or Ansible.
• Knowledge of virtualization, networking, security, and identity management.
• Excellent communication with technical and business stakeholders.
• Fluent in English; Dutch or French is an advantage.

About the Role:

We are looking for a skilled Freelance Cloud Infrastructure Architect to support the design and delivery of modern, secure, and scalable cloud infrastructure solutions for a leading enterprise based in Brussels.

Working closely with infrastructure, security, and application teams, you will play a key role in defining cloud architecture, driving infrastructure transformation, and ensuring best practices across hybrid environments.

This is an excellent opportunity for a freelance architect who enjoys working on enterprise-scale cloud initiatives and collaborating with multiple technical stakeholders.

Key Responsibilities:

• Design scalable cloud and hybrid infrastructure architectures.

Required Skills:

• Strong experience in cloud infrastructure architecture (Azure preferred, AWS is a plus).

• Experience with Infrastructure as Code tools such as Terraform or Ansible.


• Familiarity with Kubernetes, containers, and modern DevOps practices.


• Strong understanding of cloud security and architecture best practices.


• Excellent communication skills and ability to work with technical and business stakeholders.


• Fluent in English; Dutch and/or French is an advantage.
