Aston Soha, Brussels-based, is seeking an experienced Corporate Accountant to join the Finance team. The role covers accounting for multiple entities and ensures timely financial reporting in a dynamic, international environment.

Key requirements include 4+ years in accounting, autonomous work style, and strong knowledge of Excel and ERP systems. French and English fluency are essential; Dutch is a plus. The role is on-site in Brussels with growth potential.

Responsabilités

For one of our clients, an established company based in Brussels, we are looking for an experienced and autonomous Corporate Accountant to join their Finance team.

Your Role

As a Corporate Accountant, you will be responsible for the accounting activities of several entities and will play a key role in ensuring accurate and timely financial reporting.

Your main responsibilities will include:

• Managing the general accounting of several entities;
• Recording and reviewing accounting transactions;
• Managing accounts payable and accounts receivable;
• Preparing monthly and annual closings;
• Performing bank reconciliations and reviewing balance sheet accounts;
• Preparing VAT returns and other statutory filings;
• Contributing to financial reporting and analysis;
• Working closely with external auditors and other financial partners;
• Identifying opportunities to improve and streamline accounting processes.

Your Profile

• You have at least 4 years of relevant accounting experience, ideally in a corporate or international environment;
• You are autonomous, proactive and able to take ownership of your responsibilities;
• You have a solid understanding of general accounting and closing procedures;
• You are fluent in French and English, both written and spoken;
• Dutch is a strong plus;
• You are structured, accurate and detail-oriented;
• You have excellent organisational and communication skills;
• You are comfortable working in a dynamic, international environment;
• Good knowledge of Excel and accounting/ERP systems is an advantage.
