Wlgroup is relocating a defence capability role to Norfolk, Virginia, under the NATO-5 visa. The position supports capability programmes, governance and cross-nation collaboration to synchronise effects across domains.

The candidate will draft requirements, develop doctrinal content, and coordinate across development lines while engaging with national and international partners. Fluency in English is required.

Qualifications

• Master’s degree or equivalent military college qualification in engineering, information systems, aeronautics or operations research.
• Three of the last ten years briefing senior leaders and decision-makers.
• Five years of operational experience inside the last twelve integrating and synchronising effects, particularly non-kinetic ones.
• At least two of the last ten years in programme or project management in a complex environment.
• At least two of the last ten years in a multinational defence organisation.
• Fluent professional English.

Responsabilités

• Providing methodological and analytical expertise for the holistic approach to multi-domain and joint effects.
• Supporting the projects themselves, including the fires integration line of effort.
• Drawing out, capturing, analysing and tracing requirements at every level.
• Developing and reviewing the doctrinal corpus.
• Coordinating across all lines of development and proposing courses of action where they conflict.
• Organising and taking part in workshops, seminars and conferences.
• Collaborating with national and international organisations, centres of excellence and academia.
• Maintaining programme status information and supporting capability validation.
