Job summary

DEXIS, part of Envista, in Mechelen, Belgium, seeks a C++ Software Developer to contribute to the DTX Studio suite, an AI-enhanced imaging platform for dental professionals.

You will work across the full development lifecycle, extending functionality, implementing visualizations, and ensuring code quality with unit tests and CI.

Qualifications

• Master degree or equivalent in Software Engineering
• 2+ years of relevant software development experience
• Strong C++ knowledge in large codebases
• Experience with Qt/QML and 3D rendering is a plus
• Fluent in English, good communication skills

Your role focuses on deep problem-solving, not just superficial coding, and spans the entire end-to-end product development lifecycle.

What you will be doing:

• Extending general functionality, new 2D or 3D visualizations or implementing a defined image processing or AI algorithm.
• Technical design and implementation of our frontend applications.
• This includes writing code, performing code review, writing and executing unit testing amongst others.
• Monitor and control code quality. This includes ensuring correct code review, decent unit tests, continuous integration and follow-up of coding guidelines amongst others.
• Detect, treat and solve issues, communicate and educate solution to the team.
• Assist in 3rd Level support cases and support with software testing.

Job Requirements:

• Master degree in Software Engineering, or equivalent through experience.
• Minimum 2 years relevant experience in development of high quality software solutions within an existing large framework.
• Good knowledge of relevant programming languages and supporting frameworks (C++, Qt, QML, ...).
• Knowledge on 3D Rendering (OpenGL, Vulkan, ...) is an asset.
• Open and good communicator.
• Fluent in English (spoken and written).
