Ariad is recruiting a Business Analyst to join a client in the energy sector, focused on digital transformation and AI-enabled initiatives. You will work with multidisciplinary teams to translate business needs into actionable IT deliverables and shape transformation roadmaps.

You will engage stakeholders through workshops and interviews, analyse processes, and help drive value across energy projects from Brussels-based offices.

Qualifications

• Masters degree in Business, Engineering, Information Systems, Economics, Computer Science, or related field.
• Fluent in English and at least one Belgian national language.

Responsabilités

• Analyse current business processes, organisational structures and operational challenges to establish a solid transformation baseline.
• Facilitate stakeholder interviews, workshops and discovery sessions to capture and challenge business needs.
• Support business teams in defining future-state visions and transformation roadmaps.
• Identify opportunities where digital technologies and AI can create measurable business value.
• Translate business requirements into clear and actionable deliverables for technology teams.
• Act as the bridge between business stakeholders and IT teams to ensure alignment and shared understanding.
• Monitor ongoing initiatives and identify overlaps, dependencies and improvement opportunities.

Our client is looking for a curious, analytical, innovative and business-oriented Business Analyst to join their digital transformation team. In this role, you will help business stakeholders shape their transformation journey by understanding challenges, uncovering opportunities and translating ideas into actionable initiatives.

You will collaborate with multidisciplinary teams combining business and technology expertise and will have a direct impact on strategic transformation programmes within the energy industry. What you will be doing

• Assess and prioritise digital and AI initiatives based on business impact and feasibility.
• Monitor ongoing initiatives and identify overlaps, dependencies and improvement opportunities.
• Create presentations and structured documentation for management and key stakeholders.
• Support business adoption of new tools, processes and ways of working.

What you bring

• Ambition to further develop your career in digital transformation, business analysis and innovation within the energy sector.
• Proven experience as a Business Analyst, Functional Analyst, Digital Consultant or in a similar role.
• Previous experience in the energy industry is considered a strong asset.
• Strong analytical thinking and the ability to structure complex information into practical solutions.
• Experience gathering requirements through workshops, interviews and stakeholder engagement activities.
• Knowledge of business process modelling, requirements engineering and transformation methodologies.
• An interest in emerging technologies, digital innovation and AI-related use cases.
• Excellent stakeholder management, communication and facilitation skills.
• A collaborative mindset with the confidence to challenge ideas constructively and build trust across teams.
• Fluent communication skills in English and at least one Belgian national language.
• A Master's degree in Business, Engineering, Information Systems, Economics, Computer Science or a related field.
