Ariad is seeking an Infrastructure Migration Expert to lead large-scale cloud migration programmes and modernisation initiatives. You will partner with architects, security and infra teams to design and execute migration strategies across AWS, Azure, Google Cloud, and OCI, while ensuring security, performance and business continuity.

You will collaborate with executives and stakeholders to communicate progress and deliver measurable outcomes.

Qualifications

• Proven experience leading infrastructure migration, cloud transformation or large enterprise programmes.
• Experience in professional services, managed services or large enterprise environments is an advantage.
• Strong delivery track record across AWS, Azure, Google Cloud Platform and OCI.
• Fluent French and professional English communication skills are required.

Responsabilités

• Lead end-to-end cloud migration programmes from discovery through planning, execution and post-migration support.
• Define migration strategies including lift-and-shift, replatforming and modernisation approaches.
• Create migration waves, sequencing plans and cutover strategies for complex environments.
• Design target-state cloud architectures across multi-cloud and hybrid setups.
• Oversee Infrastructure as Code and automation during migrations.
• Coordinate delivery teams across networking, security, apps and infra.
• Manage migration risks, dependencies and stakeholder communications.
• Ensure smooth handover to operations with documentation and knowledge transfer.
• Drive cost optimisation and FinOps practices post-migration.
• Support retirement of legacy infra and reduction of technical debt.
• Engage with senior stakeholders to report progress and value delivery.
• Contribute to migration frameworks, tooling and reusable assets.

Our client is looking for a strategic, experienced and results-oriented professional to join their team as an Infrastructure Migration Expert. In this role, you will lead large-scale infrastructure and cloud migration programmes, ensuring organisations successfully transition from legacy environments to modern cloud platforms while maintaining security, performance and business continuity.

You will collaborate with architects, infrastructure specialists, security experts, cloud engineers and executive stakeholders while making a tangible impact on major transformation initiatives. What you will be doing:

• Lead end-to-end cloud migration programmes from discovery and assessment through planning, execution and post-migration support.
• Define migration strategies including lift-and-shift, replatforming and application modernisation approaches.
• Create migration waves, sequencing plans and cutover strategies for complex enterprise environments.
• Design target-state cloud infrastructure architectures across multi-cloud and hybrid environments.
• Oversee Infrastructure as Code implementation and automation activities throughout migration programmes.
• Coordinate multidisciplinary delivery teams across networking, security, applications and infrastructure domains.
• Manage migration risks, dependencies, stakeholder communications and go/no-go decisions.
• Ensure successful transition to operational teams through hypercare, documentation and knowledge transfer activities.
• Drive cost optimisation, rightsizing initiatives and FinOps best practices after migration.
• Support the retirement of legacy infrastructure and reduction of technical debt.
• Engage with senior client stakeholders and technology leadership to communicate progress, value and programme outcomes.
• Contribute to migration frameworks, automation tooling, reusable assets and capability development initiatives.

What you bring:

• Ambition to further develop your career in cloud migration, infrastructure transformation and enterprise technology consulting.
• Proven experience in a senior infrastructure migration, cloud transformation or infrastructure programme leadership role.
• Past experience within professional services, managed services or large enterprise technology environments is an advantage.
• Strong expertise delivering enterprise-scale migrations across AWS, Microsoft Azure, Google Cloud Platform, OCI and hybrid infrastructures.
• Experience with migration tools such as AWS MGN, Azure Migrate, AWS DMS, CloudEndure, VMware HCX, Nutanix and related platforms.
• Excellent understanding of data centres, hosting environments, storage technologies, backup solutions and virtualisation platforms.
• Strong knowledge of Linux and Windows administration within cloud environments.
• Good understanding of networking principles including segmentation, routing, firewalls, VLANs and hybrid connectivity.
• Knowledge of cloud security, governance, compliance requirements and identity management practices.
• Ability to lead cross-functional teams and collaborate with diverse stakeholders.
• Strong communication, problem-solving and stakeholder management skills.
• Fluent communication skills in French and professional English.
