Job summary

Odoo is hiring a Business Developer focused on payroll agencies to drive adoption of our payroll solutions among HR and payroll professionals. You will help position Odoo as the go-to platform for payroll agencies seeking to digitalize services, while collaborating with Sales and Product teams.

You will participate in onboarding and training, work with partners to certify payroll expertise, and contribute to events and initiatives to expand Odoo’s payroll footprint globally.

Qualifications

• Minimum 4 years of experience in Payroll.
• Experience in a Payroll Agency.
• Fluent in French and English.
• Valid work permit for Belgium.
• Learn fast & multitasking.
• Good communication/negotiation skills.
• Autonomous, assertive & proactive.
• Affinity with the IT world.

Responsibilities

• Implementing Odoo: Analyze client needs, design tailored payroll workflows and configure processes.
• Partner management: grow the payroll partner network and certify Odoo Experts in payroll.
• Training: demonstrate Odoo's payroll capabilities to clients and colleagues.
• Product feedback: relay customer and partner input to Product Owners for improvements.
• Business development: collaborate with Sales/Marketing to promote payroll solutions, and participate in events.
• Contribute to ongoing payroll-related projects and expand Odoo’s footprint in payroll agencies.

What will you do?

As a Business Developer focusing on payroll agencies, your role is pivotal in driving the adoption of Odoo as one of the first software solutions on the market where HR, payroll specialists, and entrepreneurs collaborate on a common platform. You'll be at the forefront of business development efforts, strategically positioning Odoo as the go-to choice for payroll agencies seeking to evolve and digitalize their payroll services.

• Implementing Odoo: Analyze client needs, design tailored solutions, and configure workflows to streamline payroll processes and enhance efficiency for payroll agencies.
• Partner Management: Actively support the growth of Odoo's partner network, empowering payroll agencies to become certified Odoo Experts in payroll.
• Training: Demonstrate Odoo's capabilities as a Payroll Expert through specialized knowledge and continuous training, both internally and externally.
• Product Improvement: Your job has a real impact! Collaborate with Product Owners to convey customer and partner feedback, and take part in the Odoo Experience, our annual flagship event.
• Business Development: Work with Sales and Marketing teams to strengthen Odoo’s reputation in payroll solutions. Participate in events such as Roadshows, Academies, Fairs, school classes, and workshops to showcase Odoo's Payroll advantages and capabilities.

During your initial weeks, you’ll be immersed in projects with the support of experienced colleagues, undergoing a four-month onboarding in our Quickstart team to gain exposure to diverse implementation projects such as HR, Marketing, Logistics, and more. When joining your final team, by consistently delivering exceptional value and service to payroll agencies, you’ll solidify Odoo’s position as the preferred choice, ensuring that when payroll agencies think about payroll software, they think of Odoo.

Must Have

• Minimum 4 years of experience in Payroll
• Experience in a Payroll Agency
• Fluent in French and English
