Job summary

Odoo, Belgium, is seeking a 360° Product Owner to co-create a groundbreaking payroll product in a unique partnership with Partena. You will connect R&D, Partena payroll experts, and Odoo consultants to transform complex laws into a simple, automated UX.

You don’t need to be a payroll expert at start, but you must be curious, structured, and able to learn fast, taking ownership of priorities, timelines, and deployments in a fast-evolving company with a friendly culture.

Qualifications

• Master’s degree or IT-related degree required.
• Experience in payroll/HR administration or strong willingness to learn fast.
• Fluent in French and English.
• Work permit for Belgium.

Responsibilities

• Co-create a unique Payroll product in collaboration with Partena and Odoo's R&D.
• Understand complex payroll processes and translate into software behaviors.
• Act as the key bridge between developers, Partena experts, and Odoo consultants.
• Own tasks from start to approval: transform ideas into clear specs and test the developments.
• Balance feature decisions with product vision and extreme simplicity.
• Find simple solutions to highly complex legal and technical problems.
• Translate complex rules into a seamless UX.
• Manage priorities, deadlines, and fast-paced deployments.
• Take smart and fast decisions independently.

We're looking for someone to help make Odoo fully compliant across the world. But let's start with a massive challenge: Belgian Payroll is notoriously complex, and no software has ever made it truly simple. We are about to change that.

Through a unique, exclusive partnership with Partena, we are co-creating a revolutionary Payroll product from scratch. Your mission? Solve the problems nobody else could. You will act as the mastermind connecting three different worlds: our brilliant R&D developers, the legal/payroll experts at Partena, and our business consultants.

You will transform complex labor laws and intricate business rules into a sleek, intuitive, and automated user experience. You don't need to be a payroll specialist on day one, but you must be smart, insanely curious, structured, and ready to learn fast.
