Job summary

Movify, based in Brussels, Belgium, is expanding its AI & Data practice and seeks a Business Development Manager to open new doors across Belgium. You will build a pipeline, engage with Head of Data, CIOs, and other decision-makers, and coordinate with our AI Engineers and Data Scientists to propose the right experts for client needs.

You will nurture relationships, manage bids, and move opportunities to close, turning initial wins into long-term partnerships while shaping the growth of Movify’s

Qualifications

• 3 to 6 years of business development in an AI & Data company, IT consultancy, or recruitment in the same space.
• Proven track record of opening new accounts.
• Solid grasp of the consultancy model: rates, margins, long-term assignments.
• Comfort with both business and technical decision-makers.
• Fluent in English and Dutch or French; tri-lingual is ideal.

Responsibilities

• Build your own pipeline from scratch and reach decision-makers to secure meetings.
• Understand client challenges and propose suitable AI/Data experts.
• Manage bids, negotiate, and close deals.
• Collaborate with recruiters and tech leads to assemble teams for clients.

Every organisation is being asked to transform with AI, yet few have the expertise to turn that ambition into results. Movify closes that gap: our AI & Data experts support client teams from setting data foundations to implementing GenAI use cases. As Business Development Manager, you open new doors across Belgium: new clients, new decision-makers, new opportunities.

What you'll be doing

You'll help build Movify's AI & Data business in Belgium, working closely with our experts (AI Engineers, Tech Leads, ML Engineers, Data Scientists and more). Our work is varied: from optimising anti-fraud ML models for major banks and insurers to setting up AI governance for a major energy player.

• Build your own pipeline from scratch: pick your targets, reach the decision-makers (Head of Data, CDOs, CIOs, Innovation Leads) through calls, LinkedIn, events and your network, and get the first meeting.
• Understand what the client is really trying to solve, and propose the right experts to support their team.
• Manage bids, negotiate and close.
• Work in tandem with our recruiter: they find the talent to strengthen the team, you assess it with a tech lead and bring it to your client.
• Turn first wins into long-term collaborations and grow the account.

What we're looking for

• 3 to 6 years of business development in an AI & Data company, an IT consultancy or a recruitment company in the same space.
• A proven track record of opening new accounts.
• A solid grasp of the consultancy model: rates, margins, long-term assignments.
• At ease with both business and technical decision-makers.
• An AI-ready track record: you've already sold data or AI services, or you know the people who buy them.
• Fluent in English and in Dutch or French. Trilingual is ideal.
