Maersk is seeking a Business Development Executive in Antwerpen to drive new business in Logistics & Services. The role focuses on identifying prospects, opening doors, and turning opportunities into long-term partnerships across international markets.

You will hunt, prospect, and manage a full sales cycle, collaborating with product, pricing, and implementation teams to secure new customer wins and achieve revenue targets.

Qualifications

• Proven sales experience within Air Freight, Freight Forwarding, Logistics, or Supply Chain.

• Build and maintain a robust pipeline of qualified opportunities across target industries and customer segments.
• Generate new sales opportunities through proactive business development activities, including cold calling, social selling, referrals, and field-based prospecting.
• Develop compelling customer-specific value propositions that demonstrate the benefits of Maersk's Integrated solutions.
• Own the complete sales cycle—from lead generation and discovery through proposal development, negotiation, and contract closure.
• Consistently achieve and exceed new business revenue, volume, and activity targets.
• Map customer organizations, identify key decision-makers, and build relationships with stakeholders across multiple levels.
• Leverage market intelligence and competitor insights to uncover new opportunities and strengthen commercial strategies.
• Represent Maersk at industry events, trade fairs, and networking forums to generate leads and increase market visibility.
• Collaborate closely with product, pricing, and implementation teams to secure and successfully launch new customer wins.

As a Business Development Executive, your primary mission is to win new business.

This is a pure hunting role focused on identifying, prospecting, and securing new customers for Maersk’s Logistics & Services. You will be responsible for building a strong pipeline, opening new doors, and converting opportunities into long-term customer partnerships.

We are looking for an ambitious sales professional who thrives on the excitement of winning new customers, exceeding targets, and creating growth opportunities in a highly competitive market. • Proven sales experience within Air Freight, Freight Forwarding, Logistics, or Supply Chain.
• A genuine hunter mentality with a passion for winning new business and opening doors with prospective customers.
• Demonstrated success in prospecting, pipeline generation, and closing B2B sales opportunities.
• Experience managing a full sales cycle from lead generation through contract negotiation and closure.
• Confidence in cold calling, networking, and engaging with senior decision-makers.
• Strong communication, presentation, negotiation, and influencing skills.
• Commercially driven with a results-oriented mindset and a strong focus on achieving targets.
• Resilient, self-motivated, and comfortable operating in a fast-paced, competitive sales environment.
