CBRE Global Workplace Solutions (GWS) in Belgium/Belux seeks a seasoned Business Development Manager who owns the full sales cycle across Belgium and Luxembourg, from pipeline to closing contracts and pricing. You will lead RFPs, manage client relationships and drive unit growth.

You report to the Belux Business Unit & Country Leader, with a dotted line to VP Sales Europe. The role requires a strong track record in B2B sales, leadership under pressure, and fluency in Dutch/French and English.

Qualifications

• 10+ years of proven B2B sales or business development experience.
• Background in facilities management is a strong advantage.
• Commercial acumen and strong Excel skills for pricing and solutioning.

About the role

The Business Development Manager develops and closes new business opportunities in the facilities management market, selling at a price that meets customer requirements without compromising service quality. You own the end-to-end sales process, lead the RFP cycle, manage client relationships and drive Business Unit growth across Belgium and Luxembourg.

What you'll do

• Own the full sales cycle - from pipeline strategy to signed contract.
• Define the Business Unit growth strategy and target markets in partnership with the BUL and Sales Director.
• Own the RFI and RFP process: win strategy, pricing, proposal quality and client presentations.
• Negotiate contracts with the Commercial team to secure profitable deals.
• Lead and develop the Business Unit Sales Coordinator (BUSC) function.
• Provide accurate pipeline reporting and ensure governance processes are followed.

What you'll need

• Minimum 10 years of proven B2B sales or business development experience.
• Background in facilities management is a strong advantage.
• Commercial acumen and strong Excel skills for solutioning and pricing.
• Proven track record in leading client presentations and closing complex deals.
• Natural leadership skills; able to perform under pressure across multiple deadlines.
• Excellent Microsoft 365 skills. Higher educational qualifications preferred.
• Bilingual Dutch/French with very good knowledge of English.
