Redwire Space seeks an experienced Financial Business Controller to lead the full financial planning cycle, including budgeting, forecasting, and management reporting. You will partner with operations and leadership to translate financial data into actionable insights.

Reporting to the CFO, you will strengthen financial discipline, support month-end close, and promote finance literacy across the organization. Experience with IFRS/US GAAP and SOX is a plus in this project-oriented setting.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Finance, Accounting, or related field.
• Minimum 5 years of experience as a Business Controller or similar.
• Strong FP&A, analytical, and business partnering skills.
• Solid accounting knowledge and hands-on mentality.
• Strong communication skills with the ability to influence stakeholders.
• Familiarity with IFRS and/or US GAAP reporting environments and SOX is a plus.

Join the Redwire Space team in developing and fielding end-to-end innovative mission critical space system solutions for next generation space architecture. At Redwire, you will work closely with customers from concept development through mission operations to ensure mission success.

About the Role

We are looking for an experienced Financial Business Controller to strengthen our finance team. This role is focused on leading the full financial planning cycle, including budgeting and forecasting, delivering high-quality management reporting and financial analysis, and partnering closely with operations and leadership to improve business performance. You will be responsible for translating financial data into actionable insights, strengthening financial discipline across the organization, and helping to raise finance literacy at all levels.

The ideal candidate combines strong analytical skills with the ability to communicate financial concepts in an accessible and assertive way to non-financial stakeholders. Given the size of the organization, the role also serves as backup and support for the Financial Controller during month-end close activities. You will report to the CFO. Profile
