Job summary

NextChain Solutions is seeking an experienced Business Analyst to join the Risk & Credits Tribe, supporting the In Life cluster. The role focuses on gathering and translating business needs into functional requirements, analysing dependencies and risks, and working with Product Owners, Developers, IT Architects, and stakeholders.

Requirements include a Master’s degree or equivalent experience, 3–5 years of BA experience, and strong knowledge of Agile methodologies in a banking context.

Qualifications

• Master’s degree or equivalent experience.
• 5+ years of Business Analyst experience in risk/credits or related domains.
• Banking industry experience preferred.
• Strong knowledge of Agile methodologies and end-to-end credit processes.

Responsibilities

• Gather, analyse, and translate business needs into functional requirements.
• Conduct impact and scenario analyses, assess dependencies, risks and costs.
• Collaborate with Product Owners, Developers, IT Architects, and stakeholders.
• Analyze API requirements and integration flows involving COBOL, Java APIs, and process-layer configuration.
• Define acceptance criteria and champion best solutions.
• Support Agile refinement, sprint ceremonies, and delivery processes.
• Coordinate testing activities (including UAT) and release validations.
• Assist incident analysis and cross-team resolution.
• Ensure alignment on requirements, timelines, dependencies, and delivery objectives.
