Teals Consulting is seeking a Business Analyst – Payments & Digital Assets in Belgium. You will contribute to payment and digital asset transformation, shaping business processes, operating models, and customer journeys for financial institutions and market participants.

Join a team delivering agile, cross-functional initiatives and collaborating with stakeholders to implement regulatory changes, open banking, and advanced digital services.

Qualifications

• Fluent in English and Dutch or French.
• Around 3 years of experience as a Business Analyst or Consultant within financial services, payments, or digital transformation environments.
• Initial experience working on payments-related initiatives within consulting, banking, fintech, or payment service providers.
• Good understanding of payment ecosystems, financial services processes, and digital transformation topics.

Responsabilités

• Support the analysis and delivery of payment and digital asset initiatives across different phases of the project lifecycle.
• Gather, document, and analyze business and functional requirements in collaboration with stakeholders and project teams.
• Assist in coordinating project activities, monitoring progress, and preparing reporting materials for governance meetings.
• Contribute to workshops, stakeholder discussions, and business process analysis activities.
• Support agile delivery teams in translating business needs into actionable requirements and functional solutions.
• Help identify risks, dependencies, and improvement opportunities throughout project execution.
• Participate in testing activities, business validation, and change management initiatives to support successful implementation.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to contribute to the delivery of innovative financial services solutions.

At Teals Consulting, we are actively contributing to major transformation initiatives shaping the future of the European financial ecosystem, including projects linked to the Digital Euro and strategic market infrastructure evolutions such as Project Pythagore - an initiative focused on modernizing and harmonizing securities and collateral management infrastructures across Europe.

As part of our Financial Markets practice, you will contribute to the delivery of payment and digital asset transformation initiatives by supporting the evolution of business processes, operating models, technology solutions, and customer journeys. Working alongside experienced consultants and industry experts, you will help financial institutions and market participants adapt to regulatory changes, customer expectations, and technological innovation.

Your key responsibilities

• Support the analysis and delivery of payment and digital asset initiatives across different phases of the project lifecycle.

• Good understanding of payment ecosystems, financial services processes, and digital transformation topics.
• Familiarity with Agile ways of working and business analysis methodologies.
• Strong analytical, communication, and problem-solving skills.
• Comfortable interacting with stakeholders and working collaboratively in project environments.
• Eager to learn and develop expertise within Payments and Digital Assets.
