DynaFin Consulting is seeking a Business Analyst to join our Payments practice in Belgium. You will analyze and deliver key payment initiatives, translating business needs into functional solutions and supporting implementation.

You will contribute to the firm's development and share expertise with the Payments team. The ideal candidate holds a Master’s degree with 3–5 years of BA experience in payments, strong knowledge of SEPA/SWIFT, and excellent communication with stakeholders.

Qualifications

• 3–5 years of experience as a Business Analyst within payments environments.
• Strong understanding of payment schemes and processes (SEPA, SWIFT, instant payments, cards).
• Experience analysing payment flows, systems and business processes.
• Strong communication and stakeholder management skills.
• Experience working with Agile methodologies and tools such as JIRA or Confluence.
• Fluent in English and French or Dutch.

Responsabilités

• Gather, analyse and document business requirements related to payment systems and initiatives.
• Map and analyse end-to-end payment flows, processes and system interactions.
• Translate business needs into functional specifications in collaboration with stakeholders.
• Support solution design and ensure alignment with payment platforms and architecture.
• Conduct impact assessments (regulatory changes, system upgrades, new initiatives).
• Coordinate testing phases (SIT/UAT) and ensure compliance with industry standards (SEPA, SWIFT, ISO 20022).
• Support documentation, training and knowledge transfer to business and operational teams.

We are looking for a Business Analyst to join our Payments practice.

You will support the analysis and delivery of key initiatives within the payments domain (payment flows, platforms, regulatory changes), translating business needs into functional solutions and supporting implementation.

In addition to your client assignments, you are expected to contribute actively to the development of the company and your area of expertise.

Client Delivery

• Gather, analyse and document business requirements related to payment systems and initiatives
• Map and analyse end-to-end payment flows, processes and system interactions
• Translate business needs into functional specifications in collaboration with business stakeholders, product owners and IT teams
• Support solution design and ensure alignment with payment platforms and architecture
• Conduct impact assessments (regulatory changes, system upgrades, new initiatives)
• Coordinate and support testing phases (SIT/UAT)
• Ensure compliance with industry standards (SEPA, SWIFT, ISO 20022, etc.)
• Support documentation, training and knowledge transfer to business and operational teams
• Contribute to continuous improvement of payment processes and systems
• Take ownership beyond delivery by proactively contributing to the development of the company and your expertise area
• Actively participate in internal initiatives (knowledge sharing, expertise development, workshops, publications)
• Demonstrate a commercial mindset by identifying opportunities at client side and contributing to proposals or business development efforts
• Share insights from assignments to strengthen the Payments practice and support continuous improvement
• Show initiative in developing your expertise and staying up to date with market evolutions and industry trends
• Build and maintain a strong professional network within the payments ecosystem
• Represent the company with professionalism in client interactions and external engagements

Profile

• Master’s degree or equivalent experience
• 3–5 years of experience as a Business Analyst within payments environments
• Strong understanding of payment schemes and processes (SEPA, SWIFT, instant payments, cards, etc.)
