Job summary

Taleo Consulting, a Brussels-based consultancy, is seeking several experienced Business Analysts to strengthen its payments and cards teams for a major Belgian bank.

You will analyse issues and change requests, translate business needs into clear requirements for IT and Operations, and lead workshops with stakeholders to define processes, operating models and delivery milestones, including BAT and go-live. Fluency in English, French and Dutch is required.

Qualifications

• 5–6 years of experience as a Business Analyst in payments (SEPA, Instant, international/FX) or cards.
• Strong knowledge of payment and/or card products and processes.
• Ability to bridge business and IT on complex topics.
• Fluency in English, French and Dutch.

Responsibilities

• Analyse issues and change requests, and propose improvements to payment and card products.
• Turn business needs into clear business requirements and acceptance criteria for IT and Operations.
• Lead workshops with business, IT, Operations and architects.
• Define the business scope, target operating model and processes, including process modelling and flow charts.

On behalf of a major Belgian bank, we are looking for several experienced Business Analysts to strengthen its payments and cards teams. The missions are:

• Cards: improving card products and services within an agile squad
• Instant Payments / SEPA: delivering instant payment features, from business requirements to go-live
• International Payments: removing friction in cross-border and FX payment flows to make them more STP

Your responsibilities

• Analyse issues and change requests, and propose improvements to payment and card products
• Turn business needs into clear business requirements and acceptance criteria for IT and Operations
• Lead workshops with business, IT, Operations and architects
• Define the business scope, target operating model and processes, including process modelling and flow charts
• Follow up delivery through Business Acceptance Testing (BAT) and go-live

Your profile

• At least 5–6 years of experience as a Business Analyst in payments (SEPA, Instant, international/FX) or cards
• Strong business knowledge of payment and/or card products and processes
• Ability to bridge business and IT on complex topics
• Fluent in English and French and Dutch
• Master's degree or equivalent experience

Nice to have

• Agile experience (squads, Product Owner collaboration)
• Knowledge of the Belgian payments and cards market (Wero, Apple Pay, etc.)
• Experience with process optimisation, data analytics or AI in payments
