Darwind is seeking a Business Analyst to bridge business needs and IT execution. You will ensure clear requirements and relevant solutions, acting as the translator between stakeholders and development teams.

You will gather requirements, create user stories and process maps, facilitate workshops, and monitor progress through the project lifecycle. Fluency in Dutch is essential, with French a plus.

Qualifications

• Master's degree in a relevant field is required.
• Minimum 4 years as a Business Analyst in IT.
• Solid knowledge of requirements gathering and process mapping.
• Experience with Agile and Scrum methodologies.
• Clear communication with technical and non-technical stakeholders.
• Analytical, structured thinker able to translate complexity into actionable insights.
• Strong listening skills and ability to challenge assumptions.
• Fluent in Dutch; French is a plus.

What you will do

As Business Analyst, you'll be the link between business stakeholders and IT teams, making sure requirements are clear, solutions are relevant, and nothing gets lost in translation. Concretely, you will:

• Gather, analyse and document business and functional requirements from stakeholders across IT and business units
• Translate business needs into clear user stories, functional specifications and process flows for development teams
• Facilitate workshops, interviews and stakeholder sessions to uncover pain points and improvement opportunities
• Map current and future state business processes and identify gaps, risks and dependencies
• Support the design, testing and validation of new systems, applications or process changes
• Act as the link between business stakeholders, product owners and IT development teams throughout the project lifecycle
• Prepare and present analysis, reports and recommendations to decision makers
• Contribute to change management and user adoption of new tools and processes
• Monitor project progress against scope, timeline and quality expectations

Who you are

• You hold a master's degree in business, IT, engineering or a related field
• You have at least 4 years of experience as a Business Analyst in an IT environment
• You are skilled in requirements gathering techniques, process mapping and tools such as Jira, Confluence or Visio
• You have a solid understanding of software development methodologies, Agile and Scrum in particular
• You communicate clearly with both technical and non technical stakeholders
• You are analytical, structured and able to translate complexity into simple, actionable insights
• You are a strong listener with the confidence to challenge assumptions and ask the right questions
• You are fluent in Dutch, French is a plus
