Every IT project runs on two things, a solid plan and a team that actually wants to deliver it. We're looking for someone who can hold both together, a Scrum Master with the instincts of a Project Manager, comfortable keeping teams focused and stakeholders aligned even when priorities shift.
At Darwind, we don't fit consultants into projects, we look for the project that fits you. You'll join a community of Darwinders who value autonomy, ownership, and genuine professional growth, and who believe the best work experience should always be the next one.
What you will do
You'll be the anchor point for one or more IT teams, making sure Agile delivery stays smooth and everyone knows where things stand. Concretely, you:
- Run the full rhythm of Scrum, from daily stand-ups to sprint planning, reviews and retrospectives
- Help teams grow into Agile working, not just follow it, through coaching and honest feedback
- Spot blockers early and clear them before they slow the team down
- Keep planning, scope, budget and risk under control alongside the sprint cadence
- Report progress and velocity in a way that actually means something to stakeholders
- Bridge the gap between developers, Product Owners and the business
- Juggle timelines and dependencies when several workstreams run in parallel
- Step in when the team needs help deciding or resolving friction
- Build a team culture where people speak up, own their work and keep getting better
Who you are
We look beyond the CV. For us, motivation and curiosity matter just as much as the technical box-ticking, but to thrive in this role, you'll likely recognise yourself in most of the following:
- You hold a Bachelor's or Master's degree
- You've spent 3 or more years as a Scrum Master, Project Manager or in a comparable Agile delivery role in IT
- You know your way around Scrum, Kanban and SAFe, and you're just as comfortable with traditional project management when the situation calls for it
- A certification like PSM, CSM or PMP is a nice bonus, not a dealbreaker
- Tools like Jira, Confluence or MS Project feel like home
- You communicate with clarity, facilitate with ease and manage stakeholders without losing your patience
- You're pragmatic and solution focused, equally at ease with business and technical people
- You're fluent in Dutch, and French is a plus
