ENTICO is seeking an experienced Senior Business Analyst to review and optimize core processes. You will define process flows, elicit requirements, and translate them into detailed functional specifications while liaising with architects, developers and external suppliers.

Qualifications

• Must have 10+ years of solid experience as a Business Analyst or in a similar role.
• Languages: Fluent in English and French (MUST HAVE).
• Strong expertise in process modeling, mapping, and improvement tools (e.g., Bizzdesign).
• Proven experience in business/functional requirements engineering, user story creation, and documentation tools (e.g., Confluence).
• Hands-on experience in test strategy definition, test case preparation, defect analysis, and validation activities.

Responsabilités

• Review, challenge, and improve existing business processes by identifying inefficiencies and proposing target workflows and RACI matrices.
• Elicit, analyze, and document business needs into user stories and use cases using tools such as Confluence.
• Translate validated requirements into structured functional specifications aligned with business objectives.
• Collaborate closely with architects, developers, and third-party vendors to validate designs and ensure seamless execution.
• Define and execute test strategies, write test cases, perform defect root-cause analysis, and support post-implementation fixes.
• Document business processes using modeling software (e.g., Bizzdesign) and maintain the enterprise process repository.
• Support transition-to-operations (“Run”) activities, end-user guidance, and project closure/REX documentation.
• Assist with backlog refinement and requirement insights while identifying and communicating project risks.

• Location: Hybrid – 2/3 days per week on site in Brussels (near Brussels-South Station). Occasional travel to London (Travel & accomodation is foreseen)
• Seniority Level: Senior (+10 years)
• Languages: English (Fluent) (MUST HAVE), French (Fluent) (MUST HAVE)
• Availability: As soon as possible
• Assignment duration: End of March 2027 (extensions possible)

Context of the assignment

We are seeking an experienced Senior Business Analyst within the IS team to review, challenge, and optimize core business processes. The consultant will be responsible for defining process flows, eliciting business requirements, translating them into detailed functional specifications, and bridging the gap between business stakeholders, architectural/development teams, and external suppliers.

Knowledge & experience

Must-haves:

• Languages: Fluent in English and French (MUST HAVE).
• 10+ years of solid experience as a Business Analyst or in a similar role.
• Strong expertise in process modeling, mapping, and improvement tools (e.g., Bizzdesign).
• Proven experience in business/functional requirements engineering, user story creation, and documentation tools (e.g., Confluence).
• Hands-on experience in test strategy definition, test case preparation, defect analysis, and validation activities.
• Solid understanding of software delivery lifecycles (Agile, Waterfall, or hybrid).
• Excellent stakeholder management and communication skills, with experience coordinating IT teams and external suppliers.

Nice-to-haves:

• Business case preparation and financial/operational analysis experience.
• Strong familiarity with transition-to-operations support and user change management.
