Job summary

ALTIA is seeking a Business Analyst in Brussels to translate business needs into clear IT requirements. You will work with stakeholders across departments to map processes and craft user stories.

Ideal candidates have strong UML and Agile SCRUM experience, plus proficiency with Jira, Confluence, Balsamiq and XML. English at least B2; experience in IT projects and agriculture is a plus.

Qualifications

• English at B2 level or above, spoken and written.
• At least 6 years of experience with Agile SCRUM.
• At least 5 years of experience with UML.
• At least 6 years of experience with Jira.
• At least 4 years of experience with Balsamiq.
• At least 6 months of experience in the analysis, development and maintenance of information systems in the agricultural sector.
• Knowledge: SQL, XML, Confluence; ability to elicit, document requirements and facilitate workshops.

WHAT WE ARE LOOKING FOR:

University degree equivalent to EQF Level 7 (master’s degree or 5 years of higher education) and at least 10 years of professional IT experience; or EQF Level 6 (bachelor’s degree or 3 years of higher education) and at least 12 years; or secondary education giving access to higher education and at least 17 years of IT experience.
