Job summary

SEIDOR in Brussels is looking for an experienced Senior Business Analyst to join our near-site team. You will analyse business contexts, gather requirements, model processes and translate needs into BRDs, functional specs and user stories.

You will facilitate workshops, perform gap analyses, manage risks and support UAT, while applying BABOK and IEEE 29148 guidelines. Strong documentation and communication are essential.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or equivalent in a relevant field.
• 17+ years IT experience or 15+ years with master's (per ad).
• Experience in business analysis, requirements engineering and modeling.
• Knowledge of BABOK and IEEE 29148.
• Experience creating user stories, use cases, acceptance criteria, diagrams.
• Experience delivering BRDs, functional specs and business cases.
• Strong analytical, communication and documentation skills.
• Ability to present findings to senior stakeholders.

Responsibilities

• Analyse business contexts, objectives and stakeholder needs.
• Gather, validate and document requirements through interviews/workshops.
• Model processes and system interactions using BPMN, UML or equivalents.
• Perform gap analyses between current and target processes.
• Translate needs into BRDs, functional specs and user stories.
• Prepare BRDs, functional specs and business cases.
• Identify risks and propose mitigation strategies.
• Define functional and non-functional requirements including performance and usability.
• Support test case design, UAT and validation.
• Maintain traceability and manage changes throughout projects.
• Facilitate collaboration between business and technical teams.
• Prepare presentations and reports for senior stakeholders.
